High-quality fava beans, packed according to UNRWA standards, free from impurities and harmful substances, and fit for human consumption.
General Description: All ingredients shall be of good quality, with normal appearance, smell, and taste. The product shall not contain harmful substances including microorganisms, heavy metals, pesticides, mycotoxin, foreign matter, or anti-nutritional factors. As per contract, the product may be canned Foul Medames (crushed fava beans) or canned whole seed fava beans.

Suppliers shall submit a Certificate of Analysis of the final product to UNRWA, along with all required documents when requested.
The manufacturer must implement GMP, GHP, HACCP, and GFSI standards. UNRWA inspectors may visit the factory at any time without prior notice to ensure compliance.
The product shall be free from harmful substances and compliant with Codex Alimentarius (CXS193-1995), JECFA, and EFSA standards. Only suppliers registered with NFSA are approved.
Stored under dry, ventilated, and hygienic conditions according to ISO and HACCP standards. Packaging as per contract.
36 months minimum, with at least 80% remaining at time of delivery.
