Overview:
High-quality, wholly milled long-grain rice, double polished, non-parboiled, and safe for human consumption. The rice complies with UNRWA procurement specifications and international food safety standards. It is sourced from recent crops (not more than one year old) and is free from any genetic modification.

The rice shall be packed in new, clean, and sound polypropylene bags with a minimum weight of 110 g net per bag. Each bag shall contain a uniform net weight of 50 kg, suitable for export and multiple handling. Bags must be firmly sewn and not laminated, allowing proper ventilation to maintain the product’s quality and temperature.
Rice must be stored in dry, ventilated, and hygienic conditions to maintain its nutritional and organoleptic properties.
The rice must be safe for human consumption, free from pests, abnormal odor, or any contaminants. The product must comply with public health regulations in the country of origin and adhere to Codex Alimentarius food hygiene standards (CAC/RCP 1-1969, Rev 4-2003).
